Seascape is ensconced above a rocky cove on a sprawling 4000-acre farm on New Zealand’s South Island. So remote, most people arrive at this secret house via helicopter or a long, winding farm track. A two night stay this month is $9,500 CDN dollars.

Hope, BC holds over 80 incredible chainsaw carvings through the town, all carved by participants of the bi-annual Hope Chainsaw Carving competition.

August 14 to 17, 2025 Hope will once again be hosting their World Chainsaw Carving competition August 14 to 17 in Hope’s Memorial Park. From Vancouver it’s just short of a two hour card drive.
